"good is the enemy of great".

"good is the enemy of great ". could mean many things, but to me it simply means to overachieve!
I think what Milton Glacier ment was, why do good when you can do great? why do something mediocre when you can achieve magnificent? When dealing with everything, I believe you should never take on a task half-heartedly, but immerse yourself until you can come out on top.
